UPDATE: 3RD PERSON HAS DIED FROM TULSA APPARATUS CRASH

The Tulsa Police Department confirmed a third person has died after the wreck involving a Tulsa firetruck.

Police said a 1-year-old boy who was in the car with 5 other people had passed.

Two other people also died after the accident.

Police said a Tulsa firetruck was responding to a structure fire Monday night, Feb. 26, and was traveling westbound on 41st at New Haven Avenue when a white Hyundai turned into the intersection and collided with the firetruck.

Police confirmed a day after the crash that a 23-year-old female passenger, Tamia Ray, and a 5-year-old girl died at the hospital from their injuries.

A relative of Ray started a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs and her 4-year-old niece’s recovery, who was also hurt in the wreck.
