We regret to pass on that a Bossier Parish (Louisiana, near Shreveport) Firefighter has died in the Line of Duty following what appears to be a tragic accident. FF Jessie Henry of South Bossier Fire District 2 died from injuries sustained on the job today (Saturday) from an accident while performing maintenance on one of the District’s fire trucks.

FF Henry suffered the injuries when an apparatus tire he was performing maintenance on blew up violently. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport for treatment but later died from his injuries. More to follow. Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
