Earlier today, an engine from the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department was involved in a crash with a civilian auto while responding to an alarm. The crash resulted in the engine coming to rest against a power pole and the auto on it’s side with the occupant pinned. The passenger of the auto and the firefighters were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. No further details are available at this time.
