Bedford, VA Engine & Tiller Tuesday, March 31, 2009  - The Bedford, Virginia Fire Department operates a well designed fleet of units including these two Seagrave units.  Engine 1 is equipped with multiple attack lines and a low rear hose bed utilizing a short wheelbase chassis.  The Bedford Fire Department ladder truck is fully equipped with ground ladders, hand tools and all necessary gear to support any fire ground operation.  This all volunteer fire company under the direction of Chief Brad Creasy is an excellent example of a well managed and equipped department.
