Three hurt in crash with fire truck on Interstate 70 in St. Louis

Saturday, February 6, 2010 - Three people were hurt this afternoon in a crash with a fire truck on Interstate 70 near O’Fallon Park.
A car struck the rear of the fire department pumper on eastbound I-70 about 3 p.m., St. Louis fire department spokesman Capt. Bob Keuss said.
No firefighters were hurt, but the fire truck suffered significant damage.
The severity of the injuries of the people in the car was not immediately available.
Two left lanes of I-70 are closed while emergency personnel work to clear the scene.
